When I was gestating I couldn’t help but be extremely creative. I was a crafty diva, to be sure. Although I’d love to get back to my “crafty self”, there are a few other things on my plate that have taken over, notably motherhood and my businesses. But my creative lapse shouldn’t stop you from using your pregnancy to catch the creative spirit, especially if you’re a writer.
I received this amazing book for review last week called Writer Mama by Christina Katz. It shows you all the ins and outs about publishing articles for the big glossies and other paying gigs (both online and in print), and even teaches you how to craft your very own nonfiction book. It’s a great read, especially if you’d like to stay home after your baby is born and establish a paid writing career.
